what is the time for my stock cobra in the quarter mile i here its about 14.5 please help i just bought the car and its got 40,000 miles on it and i am wondering if i should mod it or sell it i have exhaust from the header back on its way, mostly mac and flowmaster cat back i also have the cold air intake on the way and mass air meter that is also mac please help me decide if i should keep it or not

definately keep it man...the 94-94 cobras are sick cars and have tons of room for improvement to make it your own.......just my .02

Dude keep it, they are some nice and rare cars. I barely ever see any 94-95 Cobras. As for the 1/4 I dunno, but they were under-rated at 240 hp, so they should run mid-14s at least.

Sweet i got a 95 cobra havent run it yet but everyone else is right. 14.5 is stock rated time. Seems like u might have a low 14 sec car soon as u get your other parts along with some good tires. Seriously tho id keep it. Id but a Vortech kit right now since the Xmas sales on them end 31st i think,lol only 2300...any other car you get ...the parts are gonna run you way higher then the 5.0L....even parts for my Civic Si cost more then the parts for 5.0

I have a 95 Cobra and love it wish i had one with ur miles on it wow, With just the mods i have i am sticking with alot of cars i never thought i could, they r so easy to mod. You will enjoy it alot dont get rid of it, if you do end up wanting to give me a call, i could always use a 2nd one . But Goodluck and have fun with it...

Stock quarter mile times should be around 14.5 @97, depending on the elevation of the track and tune of the car.

Well I actually ran my cobra bone stock. It did exactly a 14.5. I spun quite a bit as well. You'll like that MAF you have on the way. My pro M 77 really woke mine up. I'd also chuck that CAI in the trash unless you had your maf calibrated for it. Don't want to potentially stir up unwanted problems. Or make a homade one that's a straight through. BTW...Welcome to the SVT family, nothing like walking out to your car and seeing those snake emblems.

Got 14.5 in my vert & got it down to 13.90 with bolt ons only.
