I have a 97 GT with Ported and Polished Multi-angle Valve Job PI Heads and Cushman Motorsport (Jim's) Stage 2.5 Cams & Springs
During this rebuild I am looking at staying N/A and raising my CR to about 10.5:1. I am sticking with the Steel Crank, have read I should upgrade the stock rods/beams to H Beams.
Now looking at the pistons. The Stock is a 15cc in a 49.77cc chamber and I would love to upgrade to an 9cc-11cc but wanted to know if my 15cc pistons would first yeild the higher compression and second stand up to the higher compression? Not knowing the condition of the block yet I will probably bore a bit to clean it up. 110K on the block.
