what is the limits to power on a stock 351 windsor, with either a main girdle or a 4 bolt main conversion, reliably with a good stroker kit installed forged rods pistons and such, i am wanting to do a turbo 351 in my fox and im trying to cut down a little on the cost of it and not having to buy a $2000 block would help tremendously

Converted to 4-bolt main, the early windsor blocks can take about 700-800 to the flywheel but keep any windsor stock block below 650 fwhp and you'll be fine.

If you plan on the 4 blot main conversion, with one of the older blocks. 700hp can be achieved pretty safely. But I wouldn't go any further than that.

I wouldn't even bother with a 4-bolt conversion, check out turbomustangs.com and what some of those guys are doing with them...they can be pushed further than people think.
