I was wondering if there was any way to shut off the stock governer/fuel shut off? If im driving it will hit 4500 rpms or so and stop, it just wont rev any farther, but if im power braking it it will hit 6500 rpms easy, whats the deal and is there a way to fix it?

Your problem does not sound like one that is a rev limiter problem. My guess is that you have either an ignition problem (weak ignition) or a vac problem (you've got a leak somewhere). Either one of those things can potentially cause a problem where the engine will hit what feels like the rev limiter wall. I would recommend that you go over those things and see if you can find anything out of place. Are you running a forced induction?

Are you serious??? You've downshifted and let your rms go up to 6500???? That is not good my friend. You're not driving an S2000 here with a 9k red line. I feel bad for your engine. Ouch :nono:
