I happend to run across a cobra pcm that is from the same year and trans as mine. I was wandering what it would do if I swaped them out. I understand the fuel mapping is slightly different betwwen the two. My motor is stock exept for a cold air, full exhaust, and underdrives.

The cobras had 24#inj. and the gt had 19#inj. it will be lucky to idle for longer than 5sec. with just the swap.

Now if you also add the 24#inj. then you will be fine.

I'm not sure what the benefit of this would be. IDK if the cobra came with a 'better' tune or what. But you WOULD have to change inj, not maf.

I wouldn't do it on a stock GT motor. If you put the cobra computer on with 24# injectors, you will likely see a drop in power since it'll be running richer. The cobra has better flowing heads and intake (and a different cam, but I might be wrong) to go along with the extra fuel, so you were to do a decent HCI swap, a cobra computer might be an option if the price is right.
