stock headunit

i want to put my sub into my 03 gt but i cant figure out how to pull the stock headunit out...it's the 6 cd changer...prolly mach 460...does neone kno how to get the headunit out so i can wire the sub to it?

You looking for RCA jacks or what? Most fords have 2 pin wholes on each side. You get some pins from wal-mart (they come in sets of 2) you push them in and squeeze together then you pull it out. If you are looking for RCA jacks to wire up your amp i am not sure if the stock head unit has them or what. Pull it out and give it a look.

no i'm j/ tryin to figure out how to get it off...i kno how to wire a sub in but...what are these pins called..can u explain it to me in more detail?

with the 01+ with the 6 cd changer there are no holes for the pins... you have to take the trim piece that surrounds the whole center dash off pm me if you dont know how.. as for the pramp outs.. go to you nearest audio shop and ask for a "SALOC", it turns the stock speaker outs to RCA jacks, once you got that...enjoy the boom boom
