Anyone know the stock injector size on a 96 Cobra? I'm replacing mine and I'm thinking about going a tad larger.

Do you really need a bigger injector though? I thought it wasn't really benefitial unless you had a blower or a big power adder

Would 30lbs. be so bad? I'm going to be doing some intake work. (CAI or FIPK, p&p intake, bigger MAF, etc.)

Honestly, you aren't likely to gain anything by either the MAF or the injectors. These are mods that you upgrade when your power level requires it, not to make power. Unless you KNOW that your future power level is going to be beyond the level of the stockers, you are simply spending money on something you don't need. You will require a tune for the injectors and the MAF also so consider that money as well. You should really datalog after your upgrades to see the duty cyles of the injectors and the max voltage on the MAF, THEN decide if you want to upgrade. Ultimately it is your money, so spend it how you wish.

i added the larger/higher flowing components because the intended level will reach above 400fwhp.i'm going to have to go with larger injectors at that point, but not until. put an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and up it a little when you need to. as your power level reaches the limit then upgrade. you'll need a wide band and some way of logging A/F under load. FPR's run 75 bucks. go to BLUEOVALENTERPRISE on ebay. they sell billet. i have one. you can adjust it without removing the vacuum line.

I agree, when your power level increases beyond what your stockers can do, then upgrade. Otherwise stick with what works. But if you do need some, I have some 38#'ers in the classifieds.
