Stock Intake 1989: Hoses underneath curved part

Alright, so I am doing an EFI Swap into my 1968 coupe. On the underneath of the intake where it curves over the valve covers there are a four items that I do not what to do with. Two of the items are like nipples with one plugged with a rubber plug and the other attached to a rubber hose.

The other 2 items are metal pieces that are screwed into the intake, with one about four inches long with a wire attaching to the fuel regulator.

What are these things? Do I need them for my application in a 1968 Mustang with a 302?

Thanks for the reply, that picture is great. I now plan on pretty much capping everything off since it seems I don't really need any of those items. I will still attach to the fuel regulator though even though I am not sure exactly why it needs to be.

Question that I have regarding this thread. Currently I have all the items described above plugged up. I am not convinced this is right. Resultingly, should I have any of these going somewhere like the breather cap on the passenger side valve cover? How about to the throttle body? What has everyone else done. Thanks
