stock intake...

I have 04 gt .. lookin today, will it be ok if i take filter out of intake and run it like that? i noticed it has a screen there already so.. i was assuming nothing would really fly up in there.. I drove it a bit didnt really notice difference in sound or performance really so.. is it big deal at all? is it even doing anything? just curious guys. thanks

umm... you're forgetting all the crap your car is sucking up that the screen cannot catch, ie, bits of sand, bugs, lots of stuff. keep that filter in there unless you want some serious problems

Lol you can def. det your engine easily like that, especially if you live near the beach... seen many a ricer with those problems
