i'm going with the saleen kit when i'm done with the go-fast stuff.

i think that if you have the opertunity to change it to something other than stock, do it. your choice of what you want, but don't waste the paint on a new stock bumper. if you want stock, i'm sure you can find one for next to nothing on ebay or the classifieds.

I agree with the "clean" look..over done is just not my cup of tea.
but to each his own..i prefer some looks, but not something that draws attention in a p.lot
I like when people see my car and argue with me that it runs 11's, just because the way it looks!

thats kinda what I was thinking with 2-2-1/2 inch cobra r or RR

what do our cars look like without the sideskirts though?

I was think of getting 03 cobra rims, the plain ones, or some weld I dunno

what looks good?

I guess u can think of no side skirts like the saleen/stalker style skirts just higher up. It doesn't look like a clean line like those do...kinda like an unfinished look like something is missing. I really hope the car is lowered cause without the skirts its gonna look even more 4x4-ish.

IMO, I think the stock bumpers and sideskirts work good with the car, all it needs is some wheels and a hood to set it off. Which is what i'm working towards. Theres a guy in my college that has a red gt and he has the saleen kit on it. I see it everyday and it's not something I drop my jaw at. I don't know if it's the lack of screen in the vents or what. They're definatley nice kits but they don't do a whole lot for me really.

maybe I should have made a poll.

I was jut trying too see what all looks good, I just dont want my car too look all ricey.

Im eithergoing all stock minus wing, with different rims, torqthrust or something.

Or cobra R hood 2"'-2.5 inch, cobra bumber, minus wing, and 03 cobra rims, like in that pic I posted. It looks good but since my car is a gt I dont really want to put a cobra bumber on it, seems like false advertising or something I dunno, but it looks damn good.

I just cant decide.

My car is lowered by previos owner, dunno what kind of springs, blue springs in front, an black ones in back.

Oooh, ooooh my turn to suggest. As I've always said, my dream set-up and what I think would look sooooooooo bad ass and not tooo unique but it'll do for me is the hood on oink's car, cobra front bumper, s281 wing AND SIDE EXIT SKIRTS (this is what really sets it apart). EPPIK, I know what you mean about the insurance

Saleen Side Skirts

Saleen S-281 wing and Back Bumper

Saleen Wheels (clones will suffice)

Lol, ironically enough, he could be right...
no actually it sticks out that far to bump away the legions of women that try to get into my car because it's so hot

Hm... let me see if i can find a true side shot
i don't think it sticks out that far, it might have been the angle

yeah man
good eyes
it's actually worse looking than you think
and on top of the ugly yellow/black combo... the guy's cervini front bumper clip is a different black than the rest of his car
