Alright, well...what i have so far is in my sig..

1.72 roller rockers, tmoss ported lower/matched upper, stock cam, full exhaust, 3.73 gears, sub frames, shifter, drag radials
specs: timing at 12*, fuel pressure is about 40 w/ vaccum off

I havent run the car the way it sits now...but within a month ill be sending my extra set of E7's to a friend for porting and installing 1.94/1.60 valves

After the heads, are 12's possible even on the stock suspension

It is very possible. I have a similar combo to you and have gone many 12s...

I have stock bottem end, stock cam, stock E7s with 1.84/1.54 valves, cobra intake, 65 TB, 75 MAF, rockers, and full exhaust.

My suspension is also bone stock down to the rusted quad shocks. Your going to have a tougher time on drag radials, but I also ran 12.9 on street radials, so its very possible. Just tune the car, make sure things like injectors and fuel pump are good, and then have fun!

heres a funny story before i swapped the 89 longblock

I changed just about everything to do with fuel and spark...then i just said F it and swapped motors and did the gears...ran good after that!

I got injectors w/ 20k on them, a new 155 fuel pump, new cap/rotor/wires all that fun stuff, so I guess just dialing in the timing and FP are going to be the major things to look at...

BTW I got the idea of doing the heads and valves after looking at your mods!
thanks!

Weight is a big factor as is traction - good luck though!
