Stock or B Cam?

My motor is out right now and im putting new water pump, timing set, oil pump, and all new gaskets on it before i put it back in. The car is a AOD with a shift kit and 3500 stall. And will have 4:10's. I can get a B cam really cheap from a friend, but im not doign anything else with this motor, since im building my 351w for the car. Should i keep the stock cam or put the b? since i will be driving it on this motor for a year or two.

I would do it. It probably wont run any better but it will sound cool I mean if you have a 3500 stall and 4:10's, driveability isnt a top issue so you should be OK there. Just dont expect to gain a bunch of power if you have stock heads and stuff because you will probably be dissapointed.

yea im not expectign much from this motor, the car is only goign to be driven on weekends and eventually taken to the track. I think ill throw it in then for the sound.

Definitly DO IT!!!! With the 4.10's, the shift kit and the convertor you have the B303 will work awesome!!

A frind of mine had that same set up with Cobra 1.7 rockers, and it was a real nice set up. And as for any drivability concerns......forget them. It'll drive just as well as stock.
