I recently installed a kb 2.2 flowzilla on my 89gt. I bought the car w/ underdrive pulleys on it, and I need to replace them with stock pulleys. Before I order my replacement pulleys I need to know which pulleys are not stock, because I cannot tell the difference.

Could someone PLEASE tell me what the sizes of the pulleys are? Diameter or some way to tell which ones are stock or not.
This information is very crucial, thank you all in advance.

Couple thoughts on this. 1, regarding stock vs. underdrive pullies, both are designed to use the same length belt if this is your concern. 2, why not look for a set that somebody has switched over to underdrive pullies that you could pick up for next to nothing if you ABSOLUTELY have to have stock pullies.

Yeah, you should be able to run tha same length belt with underdrives... The pullies are meant to make tha water and alt pullies larger so they spin slower, while tha crank is smaller and spin faster... thus making tha belt tha same length, in theory... Try it with tha underdrives before you get stock pullies...

And if you totally need them, find a junked car or someone who put pullies on recently... you can get them for dirt cheap

well I've searched all the junkyards, and no luck. All mustangs have no motors left. I hooked up my boost guage, and I am getting almost all vaccuum, with maybe 3lbs of boost at max with the underdrives.

Anyone know the right sizes for stock belts?

OR

Does anyone want to swap pulleys? (underdrive for stock)

I have a spare set of stock pullies laying around that I'll swap with you, PM me if you're interested.

EDIT: What size pulley are you running on the kb right now? What does your vacuum read at idle?
