Stock rear springs good for drag?

Hey, I've been told that the stock springs on a fox do basically the same as rear aftermarket drag springs. Is there any truth to this? I have the Eibach fronts from the drag kit available to me for a decent price, so I'd be curious to know whether this setup would work or not before I spend 200 bucks on a spring kit. Thanks

Plain stock GT or V8 rears should be good for a track car until you get to 450 hp or more, and need a specific drag suspension. imho.

and if you want to run stock springs up front a set of 4 bangers are the way to go.

mind you the springs you talk about will work better then 4 bangers.
