What about new cam w used lifters? My lifters only have about 5 Miles on them.I can see a wear pattern already.I know even w low mileage they are still used :( Want to use them on my stock engine.I know it's bone stock pushrods, cam,Lifters and rockers bui still preloaded the rocker, wiggled the pushrods side to side hand tighten the bolts but when I started from 12 o'clock w tourqe at 25 I got different amount of turn.I got 1 full turn on most and 1 full turn plus quarter turn on some.I think that 13 of the lifters are already primmed because when I push down on the plunger they don't go down at all.Was going to use a vise and cut a pushrod in half or a quarter of one to bleed them out.I was thinking that's why I'm getting different results when I use the tourqe wrench. Also I'm thinking 25 lbs might be too much seeing they are perfectly new along w shortblock.Any input on 5 Mile lifters w new cam?

I don't see why you can't use them. I know you shouldn't with a flat tappet cam but it shouldn't be a problem with a roller cam.

Thanks for the response buddy :) I have read lots of stories some good & bad but Usually the ones I read about using used lifters are "Really" used lifters with many k miles on them.I only drove that engine 2 times and had it ideling in front of my house few times. The roller part of the lifters already have lines/ wear patterns on them & that's what's making me second guess before I have the rockers put on.Thank you brother for the imput :)
