Stock Stall?

Whats the stall and flash stall of the stock torque converter on the 4r70w's?

not sure about the flash stall, but I am able to stall my 02 up to roughly 1200 before she breaks loose

I believe the stock stall is 1500-1700 RPM's

I believe the stall automatically adjusts to your hp level, it goes higher with more hp

yeah its somewhere around there i can take mine up 1800 rpmor somewhere around there ...... but its somewhere around that rpm range

To find out, put your car in 2nd gear and floor it. The tach will jump up to the stall speed of the TC. My 96 TBird with a stock Mustang GT TC would stall at 2500 RPM with the 2nd gear start. It would break the tires loose at just under 2000 in first.

interesting i knew they where higher but since i do a stall in first it starts breaking them loose at 2K
