what is the stock for a 1995 gt stang with 3.08 rear? I have this inclination to believe that mine aren't the right size

if you had the 17s on there its 245/45/17. Although now that I see your avatar it looks like you've got the 16s....

well, there really isnt a "wrong" size, well, there is, but..yeah, i have 245/50/16's on mine for a little bit taller sidewall than 245/45's. the 245/45's would exaggarate the wheel well gap too much i believe.

I know there isn't a wrong one I figured people would understand that by this I meant other than the stock size...I need communications classes obviously

Wow! I didn't think another 94-95 Mustang with stock 16's and stock tire size still existed! We are a rare breed (although I don't want to be a part of it new ones are in sight...)!
Same color too; nice car

I actually do wanna be a part of it I love the look of the stock wheels and tires...and I am not here to please others just me...the car does a pretty good job seeing as how every car I have owned before this had four cylinders...

Changing my rims is for performance purposes, not so others will like them... I actually love the look of the pony rims. I think the silver goes especially well with our color. However, 16''x7.5'' isn't going to cut it. If they had 17x9 and 17x10.5 pony rims I would buy them. When all is said and done, I plan on having a four piston caliper larger brake setup which is impossible with the stock rims.

I also wasn't implying that that was the reason why you did them...I was saying that that is why I didn't change my wheels...sorry didn't mean to be offensive I never do. There are plenty of good reasons to switch wheels...it is simply that as my sig says I am mostly stock at this point so changing my wheels now would be simply for looks.
