Does anyone know the stock intake and exhaust valve size of the 97 4.6L 2V? Also does anyone know the actual stock cam specs (IVO/IVC & EVO/EVC & and lobe lift)? I did a search of the forum first, but couldn't find what I'm looking for. TIA...

Okay, nevermind. You know what sucks, on an import forum (2gnt.com specifically) they have all that stuff readily available in the forums.

cougar694u:

In addition to what "nickthegenius" provided, Crower has even more info on their site.

Thanks, but I'm looking for the actual cam specs to enter into Desktop Dyno. The duration doesn't do much good if you don't know when the intake/exhaust valve opens. Thanks anyway.

They are usually rated at .050 lift.

The duration of the stock cam,
is very-very lame.
Lots of room for improvement.

Those are the PI cams, not the older ones.

This is more of what I'm looking for (taken from 2gnt.com):
Stock 420A cam
Intake lift : .324 in.
Exhaust lift : .278 in.
Intake centerline : 109.2 ATDC
Intake duration : 221 degrees
Exhaust centerline : 107.4 BTDC
Exhaust duration : 217 degrees
IVO : 1.3 BTDC
IVC : 39.7 ABDC
EVO : 35.9 BBDC
EVC : 1.2 ATDC

All I'm looking for are the open/close specs for the valves, though. Thanks for posting about Crower's website, I got the lift from there.
