stock valve spring lift?

How much lift will the stock valve springs support with 1.6rr, and i mean the total lift.

About .600" at bind so .540" or .550" allowable lift.

I wouldn't trust the stock valve springs with 55 hundredths. I would look at upgrading them at 50 hundredths myself. Especially on the typically high mileage motors in our cars.
