Stock Wheel Weights

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but I couldn't find a general discussion section.

I'm looking for the lightest stock 17 or 18" wheels that were available for these cars.

Reason, I race a Crossfire (I know what you're thinking) and MB wheels are ridiculoulsy expensive and rarely performance oriented. I purchased adapters and have a pair of RX7 wheels on the back with slicks. I want something for an everyday wheel though.

Optimal set would be 17 in front 18 in rear. Stock is 19, but that is way too big for such a weak motor.

If you have something for sale or can just point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

If this is not at all in the right area, please move.

your askind questions about a crossfire here? why would you think that anyone around here would know that? Iam willing to bet there are crossfire forums try there.

If you use the search function you will find a thread that someone started that has all the wheel weights of stock wheels

17" stock 5 spoke 99-04 GT wheels are claimed to be 17lbs no tire.

If not 17 lbs, 21-22 lbs max. They are fairly light compared to some others.

Using a digital bathroom scale, here's what I came up with:

Stock 17x8" (1998 5 spoke) rims with stock goodyear eagle ZRs 245/45/17s 42.5 lbs
Stock 17x8" rims with Nitto DRs in 275/40/17s 47.5 lbs
Chrome 03 Cobra rims in 17x9" size with stock Cobra Goodyear F1s in 275/40/17s 53.5 lbs

According to tire rack the Goodyear eagle tires are 24lbs so that would leave the Stock 17x8" at 18.5lbs.
