Man that sucks!

Hopefully you will be covered on your insurance or recover the car in 1 piece.

I took a policy with my dealer, for 1k Can$ (2$ US ) If I get into an accident they will pay half my deductable(unlimited). If I total/wreck the car or it gets stolen I pay NOTHING and get a brand spanking new car of EQUAL value! Insurance premiums with my insurer stay the same and this is in affect for 5 years

So if you dont find your stang, Ill gladly give you my coordinates and we can all be happy

My 02 was stolen about 2 weeks ago from my home. House broken into and car lifted from garage. It was found about 6 days later. The car was hidden in the garage of a vacant house. It wasn't too bad but I could tell the motor had been buzzed. Its still in the body shop for some minor damage.

Whats really amazing is the fact that auto retailers have increased cost and accelerated depreciation so much that it has created a whole new indusrty "GAP Insurance" Thats really sad. The assumption is that most people will always owe more than a car is worth. That ain't right......must not have been worth what they said it was when I bought it if a few months later I'm upside down in it.

Sorry for the rant....but I was going to trade mine and although I don't owe more than its worth....found that I would lose a bunch of cash to get rid of it.

So my new motto is " Run it till the wheels fall off!"
