He probably stoled it to take the chrome trims off.

I got my 88 convertible stolen never saw it again..

But good luck finding it!!!!!

It's a shot in the dark but were they used? haha. I know they were ugly, they came on the car and then upon repaint they didn't get taken off first so without them the paint was mega screwed up underneath.

So they just taped them off and sprayed the car with them still on? Thats not a good way to paint a car.

Get this . . . they recovered my car. Not only that, apparently who ever stole it did a good amount of work on it. I have yet to see it but the insurance company is going to end up paying to restore it back to it's original color and condition. BTW, it was found in WV.

Glad to hear it! Hopefully they did some additional performance upgrades for you. Let us know what they did to your car (good and bad) and what is expected to happen to the people who stole it.
