Yea, if you have a stone chip in your windshield, get it repaired soon. I had a stone chip in my windshield since I bought the car, and never got it fixed, well when I was out with my cousin the other night doing donuts (In snow covered parking lots), and hit a bump, I heard a loud *POP*, and boom, the car had flexed and the windshield cracked almost all the way across from the stone chip . The new windshield is going in tomorrow for $200 installed.

Another rant, Mustangs flex way too easily going over bumps...... you should see everything that vibrates and shakes, and the creaking you hear going over bumps in my car...

Thinking about it, I believe when it first happened, I hit a small crack dip in the road, no speed bumps at all, thats where I believe it cracked. Anyways, the new windshield is in, and so far, so good.
