Well here we go. Since my hood latch broke and my hood flipped up and demolished itself its time for a new hood. The previous owner repaired the front end damage with pre fuel injection aprons so I donot have an intake hole nor do I have splash shields , so a fenderwell intake is out of the question. I was thinking of getting a Storman Norman hood with the ram air box. Anyone have one? Are they any good? Do I still need to cut a hole in the apron, or does it only take air in through the hood?

still need to cut a hole in the apron. it comes in through the holes in the hood, down into where the stock airbox would be, gets filtered, then goes into the throttle body

So if it gets the air through the hood why do I have to cut a hole in the apron?
