I have eibach sportlines and it seems like they have killed my 60ft times. I used to pull 1.95-2.1 and now im lucky to get a 2.1. usually its 2.2-2.3. is there any other suspension upgrades i can make to get my 60ft times back or get them even better? i want to keep the sportlines cuz i love the stance btw. will uca's and lca's help? what can i do? any help is greatly appreciated. :flag:

lca's will help out alot. I used to have lca's on and now Im running the stock parts. I really have to work for it now to leave the line hard. Whereas with the LCA's I could take it to 3k on street tires and just ride it out.

with sportlines the lca's dont really help and honestly there is no really good way to bring down the 60ft. i just ditched my sportlines for some eibach drag launch and also got some lakewood drag shocks with some bfgs drag radials. now i think im busting out 1.7s if not 1.6, thats from 2.3s

drag radials for the track, your 60' went down because you killed your wieght transfer, great for road racing, not good for drag racing :(

if i get drag launch springs how much are they and will my car still look slammed(lowered) like a mofo? are 70/10s good for street use? should i get adjustable uca's/lca's or just some good steeda ones? what about subframe connectors?

also a set of fox 4cyl springs could give you the ride hieght you want with a spring rate more suitable for drag racing.

Adding upper and lower control arms will help, but only if you back them with a drag radial or a true slick. With stock street radials, they're likely to hurt your 60-ft times even more. Stiff control arms transfer the power so well as a matter of fact, that they tend to overwhelm the stock tires by "shocking" them when trying to come of the line. You don't get the flex that softens this blow like you do with the stock stamped steel pieces and it's going to translate into more wheel spin, not less.

The sportline springs are too short and stiff in the back end, which limits the amount of "squat" you'll get when the weight transfers to the rear wheels and the same holds true for the front springs, since the shorter stiffer springs won't provide as much "extension" under acceleration to sufficiently transfer the weight to the rear.

You can set it up to drag, or you can set it up to handle, but it’s never going to be able to pull double duty. Either keep a different set up handy in the garage for those weekends at the track, or be content with your sleek stance, crisper handling and sub-impressive 60-ft times.

If you want to keep your lowering springs and better your 60ft. times, it's as simple as getting better at driving on your setup. Sticky tires, LCAs, and adjustable struts will help this as well, but they can't do anything unless you know how to get the car off the line.
