straight pipe

i talked to a fellow mustang owner today and i asked him what exhaust he had cause i liked the sound, he said it cost him 30 bux and all he did was have them remove the mufflers and just weld in pipes in place of them, are there anything that could go wrong buy doing this?

your right when i put my mufflers on i had to crank it up to hear what straight pipes would sound like. they do sound nice. i dont see anything wrong with it. if you take off your cats you might have quite a bit of riffling when you let off the gas but besides that i see no problems. you ll probly get more of a horsepower gain with mufflers that with mufflers
