straight pipes

how do you guys think they sound? do you think it would result in a gain/loss/no change in horsepower/torque thanks!

i think it would likely result in a cop pulling you over. that was my friend's experience with straight pipes. i say don't give the pigs another reason to zero in on u. not sure on the power loss or gain tho. btw, it sounds awful anyway. big difference between sounds loud & sounds good.

One of my friends ran straight pipes on his 95 GT. It sounded ok when it was idling, but as soon as he hit the gas it sounded like ass.

The crossover section is there for a reason. To help equalize the exhaust gas flow. It's not a chevy.
