Ah, yes I had the same problem, but you are in luck. The install is very easy, and should take you about 30 minutes if you work slowly and carefully. Pictures help a lot, the one included will allow you to see where everything goes, my recommendation is to assemble all the pieces outside of the car, then put them in the car. It helps you to make sure everything is fitting well. Make sure you do the air filter/metal box assembly, for some reason I found that to be the most annoying, esp. fitting it in the car (you may have to move some wires around a little). No big issues though, just take your time and if it looks like two pieces fit together, they probably do.

Dyno first and then after.

You could answer a lot of questions for the forums that way...

Ya mine didn't come with instrucions either and I started putting it on at the plenum side, this makes it a lot harder so start at the filter end. It's a very tight fit, but everything will work. If you'd like any pictures I can get plenty if you are running into problems.

Thanks for the help guys. If I need any pics i'll let you know. I wish i could get a dyno first but the closest one near me is about 2 hours away. Dont have that kind of time to kill just for that. Would a Gtech work for dyno numbers? Are they close for reading the same thing.?

I know nothing about the Gtech nor did I use a dyno, but I did gain 2-3 mph in the 1/4 if that says anything. Also the car feels peppier.

I've been also thinking about installing the straight shot and wonder after the install if any error codes pop-up or should I even be concerned.

My 03GT is stock and I mean stock. I baby the car so much that I still have the orig Goodyears on them with 40,000 and still looking good.
