I've noticed that each time I switch on my headlights or press the electric window switch, that my coolant temp. gauge suddenly reads higher. When I switch the headlights off again or release the electric window switch, the gauge goes back down again just as suddenly.
Has anyone else had the same experience and if so, how did you solve the problem?

no clue but I'd say check your grounds. Are you running under drive pulleys? Is it just the temp gauge? Check all other gages while doing this to be sure.

I only have an underdrive crank pulley but the gauges were behaving the same way even before I installed it. I'll check the grounds and maybe add a couple more (block to firewall, firewall to battery).

I would check your grounds. Also how much higher is it going, and what brand gauges do you have?
