have 2002 mustang gt 3 months ago had 3.73 gears installed and a month ago had the pinion seal replaced because of leak. now at certan times i get a chirping sound from somewhere..it sounded like it was coming from the brakes so i pulled the front pads of and nothing in between the pad and rotor. then thismorning the sound was back but a higher pitch chirping sound. it might last for 30 seconds or it could last for 5 miles. it come and goes. it is not constant. applying the brakes the sound does not go away. accelerate it seems to go away. or i could drive it the next day and no noise at all. decelerate and it is back. then it just goes away. the noise stops under 10mph and no noise at idle. this noise not dependent on engine speed just vehicle speed.......
