Hey guys, About one week ago i drove my 86gt 5.0 around town, car drove normally , but on my way home it started bucking the rpm's were very low and it sounded like it was misiring fortunatley i was by my house when this happened, so the next day i started the car up it would only stay running for about 1 minute then die i started it again it would do the same but this time took less time to die and hover around 200 rpm's trying to fight to stay alive (this is all done without giving the car any gas). i started up the car this time i held the throttle open it would stay running for about 2 minutes then die even with the throttle held down. I guess it was time to bring out the diagnostics equipment. First i hooked up the fuel pressure gauge car showed 40 psi then i grounded the coil wire to check for spark and there was spark. i probably thought maybe the timing jumped so i turned the dist. base while cranking the car same results but i rotated the dist base again i heard a funny noise didnt know where it was coming from i looked at the still attached fuel pressure gauge it started going from 0 to 40 every time i turned the dist. base ? anyways next i moved on to hooked my scanner to the computer first time i scanned the car it said all pass, i scanned it again this time it gave me a code (4?) i never saw a code like this before its not anywhere and with a question mark. i did get a memory code 14 pip so i decided to change the distributor and module. i swaped it out this time the car doesnt even start it cranks normally any ideas? i changed the following tps sensor, new plugs, wires, car, rotor i didnt buy a new iac but a had a couple so i swpped them also when diagnosing the car and got the same results. do you guys think maybe the computer is shot if so how can you test for a dead one? thanks guys

hey, When did all my tests i had the car hooked up to battery charger cause i know i was gonna crank the car a lot. the O2 sensor is probably 1 to 2 years old, and i believe that the computer does not read the 02 until the car is warmed up.
