while working on my car I was putting my driverside window down and it stopped abruptly about halfway. There's nothing happening when I press up or down on the switch...I haven't checked the voltage from the switch...but will do that tomorrow...here's the strange part...
whenever I turn the car to acc. or to run, the driver side window motor makes a noise as if it is trying to move but can't (it lasts about 1/2 second)...at the same time as all of this the pass. side window stopped working also (for a bout the last year the driver side switch wouldn't operate the pass window)...soooooooo...I assumed that maybe a fuse was bad, so I swapped the two 20watt cb fuses in the fuse panel, but no luck...
so tomorrow I will try to clean the switches and see if that helps anything, but the motor noise is rather wierd...any thoughts?
