hey guys i was woundering i have a street heat upper and lower intake now. im happy with how my car is running but i plan on taking my gt40x heads off and getting them milled and ported and i would like to know if i should buy the track heat upper to gain some more top end power??? What are some of the differences? is there many MAJOR benifits to this upgrade??? thanks

I went with the Track Heat because it runs well up to 6500 rpm, where the Street Version is only an upgrade for the stock unit. Unless your cam can rev I'd stick with the Street Heat for good torque.

what you gain on the top end you will lose some bottom end. you will end up with about the same area under the curve.

so it depends on what you want for the car. for a street car, you probably want more on the bottom end. for a track car, you might want the top end more.

i would match the intake best to what cam you have.

if you have a stock cam keep the street. if you have a aftermarket that revs alittle more. go with the track heat

You could also port the Street Heat lower for the heads.
