The best was the guy who was selling a laptop and was contacted by a guy from another country who wanted to buy it. It was an obvious scam but they guy played along. He wanted him to send the laptop and say it was something else much cheaper so he didn't have to pay taxes on a $5000 laptop.
To make a long story short, a bunch of people got involved, they found out where the guy lived and posted from in an internet cafe. The guy sent him a binder with keys glued to it and declared it's full $5000 value so the scammer had to pay $500 or so in taxes just to claim it.
