Street scene, ghost strips and flat black trunk panel

Haven't posted for a while move frpm Phoenix to Wichita new position all that stuff has kept me busy but I've taken a little time to give my baby something to give her some atention in a new place, well actually anywhere I go. The pic's aren't the greatest will get some time here soon to get better pic's. OK so here's what I've done:
Installed the Street Scene body kit: Front facia, rocker panels and door fills, and rear valence "skirt" (filled and blended the gap between the original kit part and the original, didn't like the gap that was there)

Added coperized pearl ghost strips: to the front facila, hood, roof, and trunk lid just over the back edge to the 3rd brake light

Flat black on the trunk area between the brake lights

Added 3" tips to better fill out the kit openings (only untill I figure wich exhaust I want to install.

Well tell me what you think... let me add I know the pic's aren't the greatest but had to cut 'em up to get them to load and being ghost strips it's hard to get a good pic showing it all at once... ok now be nice....

Very nice! My mineral grey GT is in the shop having that same kit installed and painted. I'm doing the ducktail spoiler too though. Thanks for the preview! I can't believe those are 3" tips. My Borlas must be 4" because yours seem really small. Anyway, I dig it. SSE's kit is the nicest on the market if you ask me!

I think those are the classy-est looking stipes i have seen on a mustang yet. How much did they cost if you dont mind me askin?

Don't care for the color of the stripes, but other than that, looks great! Too much red hue for my taste.

How easy is it to install the lower speed grille? I think I'll want to have those until I get my intercooler and ProCharger on.

Awesome. I like the red hue of the stripes, it pulls red from the interior and works with the lines of the seats. Nice choice.

Sorry for the delay was caught up in the real world for a few days

Sanctus:
I don't mind a bit, the stripes were about $800, took a while to figure out the right lay out but I couldn't be more pleased with it.

KrisHorton:
The speed grill wasn't a problem at all; it is much easier to do it with everything off the car. I thought about doing the Street Scene spoiler and still might, I'd be interested to see how your turns out. One thing to note about the kit make sure who ever does it cleans the hell out of it as the mold release will cause fish eyes in the paint (I know first hand) and the installation instructions don't go into the detail they should.
And to everyone else who posted comments thanks for your opinions/thoughts.
I'll get some better pic's after the new rims/wheels and lowering it.

woah woah woah 800? those look painted dont they? the figures i have heard for stripes painted is a couple hundred over that. If they are vinil than you have to tell me whereyou got those because they seriously look very very clean. Where did you get them put on?

they are painted but I helped with the work sanding and priming the areas layup and had other stuff done. All together with the kit parts installatoin ect.. it was closer to $2700 had it done here in Wichita

Just gotta shop around. We're getting ours done at a very reputable shop here and they're charging us $1200 for the whole body kit, and stripes.

Where did you get the upper and lower grilles from? I have been looking for black / black chrome speed grilles that keep the fogs.

When they install the rocker panel parts you will probably need to reinforce it from the underside cause the wind will ware on it, and the door fills will need to be trimed to because they will swell from the being in the sun and when you open the doors they will dig into to the front quarters, kind of a trail and error thing, be patient and you might want to look into filling and blending the gap of the kit and lower valence and make sure they trim fit every thing before you/they paint, the front fit wounderful, and make sure they clean the mold release with the right cleaner if they don't you will have problems with the paint finish

Got mine back on Friday and am very happy with it. The spoiler goes on on Tuesday (they forgot to paint it...)

They told me that have a lot of experience with urethane and cleaned it, sanded it, and primed it. It looks fantastic and fits great. Final cost for me was $1325 to have the kit installed, painted, and my trunk filled and smoothed.

I've onle scrubbed it on a dip once...didn't go at it sideways enough, haha.

My car is dropped with the Pro Kit. If you want to keep the drivability, I suggest leaving it stock height. But if you want it to look great and sacrifice drivability, lower it like mine. I'm used to driving lowered cars though, so it's not a big deal for me.

I'll post pics with the spoiler installed in the next few days.
