just bought a new one with a gasket, figured id change the whole thing. well, just a note to anyone thinking about doing this...make sure you have the top screws holding the back bracket/plate in before you remove the striker. it is a *bitch* to get back together if you let that plate fall.
looks like the hatch will be bouncing around for now, striker doesnt fit, plate is stripped and it seemingy can't be removed.
