Just added Saleen ground effects to my '89.. wondering if I should do some stripes or leave it plain? I was thinking maybe just the "Racecraft" and "302" decal and leave the "Saleen" decals off. It is no where near a clone.. just think it's missing something from the outside?

What do you think?

.....adding the 302 and racecraft decals would be a nice touch and its not misleading as you have both on the car. I like the way it looks now, no need to add the saleen strips or the shelby thick stripes across the top of the car. Looks sharp!!

My car used to look very similar to yours when i had the 90 5 spoke ARE rims, i had the stripes on the car, and i like them at the time, but i really don't miss them now.
Beside the lower stripe kit usually works better on red if the black bumper trim is retained.

Car looks great!

I never really did like the lower graphics Saleen put on their fox body cars. However, I do like the side graphics similar to what the '89 SSC and '93 SA-10 cars have.

Two quick questions...
Who makes the gauge overlays in your car and where did you purchase the Saleen body kit (is it OEM Saleen or replica)?

Very nice looking ride...

I would not put stripes on it. Looks great the way it is, just wouldn't be the same with Strips.

[EDIT] Just had a thought ... If you want it to look like a Saleen, Just buy one [/EDIT]

No stripes

Car looks awesome, the red stang with the body kit and black rims look nasty as it sits. So i'd vote for no stripes either.

I would do the black/fade Chevrons, if it were my car, but the clean look works just as well.

The steering wheel is just a Momo Monte Carlo that you can get pretty much anywhere. Mine came from Maximum Motorsports.. the cruise adapter was made by a guy on one of the Saleen boards that I frequent. He had a couple for sale. PM if you're interested.

Thanks everyone.. for now.. it will stay the same. I've photoshopped different graphics on it, and nothing really stood out.
