I think the wood should be a shade darker and you should vacuum that floor. It looks dirty. Werent you told to clean up after yourself when youre done playing?

That pic can be seen on this page: http://www.soniccherry.com/mmshoot.html - I dunno what the filename is so just go there and find it if you want.

Did you plan on touching up the scuffed black paint on the trim? that'd make it look great. And like you said, polishing compound to brighten up the lenses will make them look great if you do it right. Before aftermarket companies started selling new Cobra replicas, I refurbished old GT/LX lenses to be replicas and sold them. Always came out great!

thanks, yes i do planing on re painting the trim black again but i will do that this spring when we go to paint the car along with doing the chrome on the inside like mustang5L5 said.

either tomorrow or this weekend ill pull the left tail light off and do it. and post the pics of that one.

these wont be going back on the car till spring. so ill going to wrap them in bubble wrap, put them in a box, and put them in my closet for safe keeping.

my next little project is to do the rear breaks. and i may replace the e-break cable but that's still a "maybe" thing.

what type of polishing compound did you use? i was just using some plastic polishing compound and only did it once becasue there were a little dull?

would a Dremal on Low with a polishing wheel do the trick or will that be a little harsh for the lens?

Thanks.

Don't use a Dremel. Use a rag and your hand. I used a 3M Product. You can pick up a Mothers Powerball and plastic polishing compound, and that'll do the trick too. Probably better as well. The 3M stuff I use can be hard to find.

All their stuff is a bit pricey, but, it's worth it. After using the cheap junk, you'll go spend the money on the good stuff anyway.

oh yeah...I have similar colored carpet in my house...soon to be ripped out and replaced with hardwoods.
