Stroker kit recomendations?

So I got the 302 motor out yesterday. Took the FMX out with it. I'll take the motor down to AIM in Reno for a rebuild and I'd liKE to reassemble the internals myself.

I'd like a 331 or 347 I think. SOmething fairly cheap, I'm on a budget and don't intend to put any boost or exceed 400hp or so.

There are a few kits out there - any recomendations? I've never had a block rebuilt, anything special I should look for from the machine shop?

Eagle or Scat seem to be the kits to get. The 347 will take some machining to the block for clearancing.

i recommend using a 331 stroker motor over the 347. i prefer the shorter stroke, and it makes nearly the same power, but with a better power curve.

$220 for a stroker crank is a good price imo.
