Hey all, I'm interested in using a structural foam to inject into and reinforce the frame of my '70 rag top. I see a there's a thread about this and would be great to hear from those who've used said foam and what product would be recommended. Looking forward to getting my 10 plus year restoration on the road for summer 2017!

I would not recommend any type of foam in the car at all ,it could hold moisture and really cause a problem .I restored a coupe a few years ago for a friend that had foam sprayed in the window posts and they rotted out .It wasn't fun repairing either because it kept catching fire .

Horse is right. Its just a big sponge and will accelerate any corrosion you already have. How about a sub-frame connector?

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback. I'll get Wilbur up on a lift in September and have thems with more experience than me have a look at the frame.
