i should add, the 28 spline setups are really tough too.
I would agree with the General but, when you compare a 31 spline axle to a 28, the size difference is quite noticeable.. If you buy parts new there are no upcharges for the 31 spline stuff........

I think what he's getting at is that it would cheapen the upgrade if he chose to, if not his existing axles would probably be just fine. :)

if you plan on putting the car down the track on slicks 31 spline are a good investment. If not then 28 spline will work all day long. I have Nitto 555 R’s with 28 alone for years and zero issues.
