Ive got Lakewood adjustable front struts and UPR camber plates. All the bolts are tight but I still hear the rattle. Most noticeable crusing through hood no load roughly 25mph. Is there a trick to quieting these down? What other components should I be looking at? Sway bar mounts and end links look good. Tie rods and ball joints have no play.

Should be zero rattle in a strut unless bolts are loose. Calipers?

Thanks for the idea. Ill check the calipers. However, i can roll forward or backward slowly and stomp the brake pedal. No noise. If the calipers were loose then wouldnt they clunk if there were loose?

Do you have isolators top and bottom?

Are there any plastic boots/etc. inside the coil spring that might be flopping around or catching on something?

Have you looked at you engine bay skirts? Is everything tight/not flapping in the breeze?

Is there [anything] that looks like might move in turbulent air?

Did another test drive after making double sure all camber plate and strut mount bolts are super tight. Still rattling. I also tried coasting and applying slight braking to see if engaged calipers changes the noise. No change

Spring isolators on top and bottom. Plastic splash guards are a little loose but I seriously doubt they would make the kind of noise I’m hearing.

Way more substantial noise for something tinny like those.

Spring idolaters on top and bottom. I had a typo in my previous post that I just corrected on this.

Is the spring free and clear of everything (imagine some slight articulation)? Can you rock it back and forth by hand, so that it's not?

I chased something like this down on an F-150 once. Drove us nuts, all OEM parts. In our case, it turned out to be an old bushing we played hell, finding.

Is the noise just something you have chosen to tolerate? I’m wondering if tolerating it is eventually the conclusion

Get a dead-blow hammer. Jack the front up and take the wheel off and start hitting things.

Sometimes a rubber or wooden mallet works better than a metal hammer.
Remember, 'rubber meets the road', gotta duplicate that.

I unbolted the top of the struts and removed the spherical bearing retaining ring. The spherical bearings are tight and have no slop whatsoever. So I can’t see how replacing them would solve it.
