Struts and sills

I was looking around on the web and saw some "Gas struts" they lift your hood up. I was thinking about giving these a shot. They look pretty nice and they get rid of that stupid prop.

Door Sills.... Any bad experineces with these? Saw them on the web also and they look really nice in some cars. was wanting to know some thoguths on these.

I bought hood struts from redlinetuning.com and are very happy with them (installed more than a year ago). I think you can download the installation instructions to get an idea of the level of effort in advance. There's a pic on my crude web page:

I have the Redline Tuning hood struts as well and regretted not doing it a long time ago. A mod that is required if you look/work under the hood alot. Cheap Ford couldn't install them as a stock item. I hate that dumb hood prop.

thanks for the input. i have alwase wanted to know why they spend a lot of time and money on a engine then hide it behind some 2 dollar metal prop instead of some nice holders.
