I'm hoping to replace my stock struts and shocks on my 89 LX , any suggestions, the car is not raced and I'm looking to get better traction but keep the handling. Thanks
I had a whole Toico kit installed for about $600. The kit included shocks, struts, and lowering springs. It only lowered the car about an inch, which is fine with me. Car handles and rides well, and it didn't empty my wallet.
if your planning to see the track often i would say koni or billstein i have billsein shocks and struts with H & R lowering springs on my 91 lx rides pretty good if not i would say tokico or KYB you might wanna check maximum motorsprts.com
KYB sux, tokiko is decent...I would suggest bilstein's or koni yellow's they're real good quality, h&r springs or eibach sportline (sportlines need c&c plates)
good luck! that will greatly improve handing and for traction i would suggest rear control arms, and subframe connectors which will help keep car stiff... www.maximummotorsports.com is real premium *****
