As yall know I have been having a load of problems. I recently had new clutch put in but it was chirping in clutch fork area took it to trans shop and they said it was flywheel needing resurfaced, let them do that, got car back yesterday, the chirping was gone for a while, but slowly came back more and more over the day. Today it started getting hard to shift. I was just about to leave and I was pulling off hill and it wouldnt hardly go, it made loud crack/pop noise then died and seen some smoke. its dark so couldnt tell where it was coming from and could smell a weird smell. Finally got it off hill and brought it back home but noticed it would not shift out of first, but when car is off it will shift freely.
Also for past few days there has been a ticking noise comin thru shifter from the tranny. I think, no sure but what ever the ticking is is causing the fork to shake which causes the chirp, thats all the info I can think of. Im stressed this car has been hell for me..
