I just went to get some crap out of my car and noticed my passenger side seatbelt won’t release (bottom roller) I tried pulling on it and it just won’t give. It doesn’t seem twisted, but yet it won’t release. I’m about to take it apart and see wtf is up with it, has anyone else had this problem? What did you do to fix it? POS Ford seatbelts again!!!

Mine have done the same thing. Haven't fixed the passenger side yet, but finally got the drivers side untwisted and it works almost like new. Being twisted seems to have cause the retract to screw up some times, though.

I took it apart and was twisted as all hell, but that's not the problem. I put it all back together and it still wouldn't come loose. So I took it back apart and pulled the white piece that has the spring deal on it and messed with the other white plastic deal inside and it moves fine. It doesn't lock very well though. I put it all back together and again it wouldn't work. So I said screw it and pulled the piece out again and put it back together. So it moves but doesn't serve much purpose as a "safety" belt since it doesn't lock when tugged on. Oh well, I guess I just can eject my passenger if they piss me off

"Ford - Where Quality is job one, and Jesus, we really screwed up on the Mustang's seatbelts." This is one of the top complaints - seems to happen to everyone. We've had this issue on both of our GTs.
