Why do people favor one or the other? Ive decided to go stud mount, yet i read that killer went pedestal. what am i missing? isnt there extra things needed to use the pedestal?

Stud mount is theoretically stronger, and it is easier to adjust (no shims). The only advantage to using pedestal rockers would be that you could keep the stock ones. Not that I'd want to, however .

Pedestal mount rockers are mickey mouse. They're a pain in the ass to set up too; making sure the pedestal is square, yada yada. My stupid-self bought pedestal mount heads thinking I wouldn't run into VC clearance problems. Boy was I wrong. Buy studs.
