Stupid Compressor

To continue whining about my stupid dead a/c compressor... It's preventing me from starting my car.

So uh...how to I get the refrigerant out on my own safely? Since I can't take it to a shop and have them do it.

the only way to get it out safely and legally is to use a a/c recovery machine. or you can just take a pen or somthing and stick it in the a/c fittings untill all the freeon is gone.

but you realize it's the pulley and clutch thats seized and you can remove those and replace the pulley on car without discharging the a/c right?

the pulley freewheels on the compressor, but what happend to you is your a/c clutch seized on. and your compressors seized. but if you don't care about your a/c working you can just buy the pulley and clutch. and replace those on the car and leave the coil disconnected so the a/c can't activate.

Hmm.. Well, I was gonna install an a/c delete because it's cheaper.
