Stupid Move

Ok well one day after a full night of drinking. I was supposed to take my saleen to get a quote for a trade in. To make a long story short I hooked up the battery backwards when I went to go start it. Now it's acting weird. What fuses did I pop? Has anyone else done this if so help me out. The car won't start and only a couple of light turn on in the cluster. Headlights turn on fine. Any suggestions? Thanks

hooking up the bat backwards can cause some serious damage. It can do anything from blowing a couple of fuses to like what merc said and fry the entire system. It all depends on how strong the battery was. I've even see batteries explode and leave the entire motor covered with acid so at least you are ok in that regard. Get it checked out and best of luck.
