does my 99gt windsor motor have a 6 or 8 bolt flywheel?? thanks and sorry for wasting your time

I believe the windsors have a 6 bolt setup. It's the Romeos that have a 8 bolt setup.

windsors are 8 bolt. romeos are 6 bolt.

99-00 GT's have 8 bolt windsors.

You sure its not the other way around ? I can't remember if my torque converter had 6 or 8 slots for bolting up whenevr I got it. I could of swore though it had 4 extension ends with 2 holes each. 4x2 = 8 so thats my rationalization behind my above post.

i'm 100% positive. how do i know? first off, all Cobra engines are Windsors, as well as all 5.4L's. they both have 8 bolts. all Windsors have 8 bolts. 2nd, because i had a Windsor in my car, i did not need a new flywheel for the Cobra crank.

Ahhh crap. I'm thinking of flexplate. Not flywheel.

thanks guys...i was pretty sure i had an 8 bolt, but i was looking at something and it said 6 so i just needed reasurance....t&j long block comin in soon and now i dont need to get a flywheel...so thats good
